Can I transer my alarm to my new vehicle

The short answer: Yes

You would be able to transfer your Alarm into your new vehilce. Costs will depend on the alarm system you have and which vehicle you are putting it into. 

Are the Alarms Thatcham and insurance Approved?

The Following Alarm Systems that are insurance approved Cat1 are:

  • Elite
  • Smart Pro
  • Light Pro
  • Mini BT
  • Camper Pro
  • Camper Mini
  • Smart Moto

The Following systems that are insurance approve Cat2 are:

  • Storm
  • Storm Plus
  • Van Smart

Select vehicle type, then select either Catergory 1 or Catergory 2, In Manufactures select 'Pandora Car Alarms' you can leave supplier blank' on the right, select your alarm to view your certificate. by showing this certificate with your invoice of the system fitted to your vehicle will be acceptable to any insurance company approving Thatcham Products.

Is Pandora suitable for my vehicle?

Pandora Car Alarms offer a range of security features suited to any vehicle. 

If your vehicle is older than 2006, there are still options you can choose to work on your vehicle. 

Is there a subscription on the Pandora alarm systems

Only alarms with GSM/GPS tracking will require a subscription fee. We currently offer the first 6 months for free. Once the free period is up, you can pay for 6 months or 12 months subscripitons. 

Alarms that require a Subscription:

  • Smart Pro
  • Elite
  • Camper
  • Van smart
  • Eye Pro
  • NavX
  • GSM Winter package
  • Supercar edition
  • Range Rover/JLR package

Some alarms that do not offer GPS/GSM features can be added. additional costs will apply. 

None subscription products are as follows:

  • Storm
  • Mini BT
  • Light Pro 

 

How much is the subscription and how do I renew it?

You will get 6 months for free then 6 months witl be £70 and 12 months will be £125

Will having a Pandora system fitted void my warranty ?

Under the Block exemption regualtions which aims to promote fair competition and consumer choice of after market parts, It should not void manufacturers warranty. however; we understand certian manufactures may have concerns and we reccomend you contact your dealership first. (this will include any modification you may add to your vehicle)

Do you offer finance plans?

We offer a 4 months 0% interest plan. 

Pay your depostion followed by your first payment of 25% of the remaining amount. 

You will then pay the 2nd payment the next month. 

EG: 

Total £1150.00 

Deposit £150

First payment £250

2nd Month Payment £250

3rd Month Payment £250

4th Month Payment £250 

Note: You can pay upto £3000 over 4 months.

Any finance under £1000 is no credit checks

Finance is only available at HQ in Redditch and some other participating authorised installers, please contact them direct. 

 

Can I sell my vehicle and leave the Pandora with the vehicle?

Yes of course. You will need to email us with the following details: 

  • Car make/model and registration number
  • Alarm telephone number (if GSM system)
  • a copy of the green/blue membership card. 

If you have an alarm with GSM/GPS, You will need to remove your number from your alarm. This is usually recommended to be done with an installer. 

you will then need to hand over the following to the new owner: 

  • Green/Blue Membership card
  • alarm number (if applicable) 
  • All the tags 
  • Manual (if applicable)
  • our email so they can get in touch info@pandoracaralarms.co.uk

The new owner can contact us to transfer into the new owner.

note: subscriptions can not be refunded and are not transferable

I need help with my Alarm

What are the 3 beeps when I start the ignition?

The 3 beeps you here when you start your car are an indication that the immobiliser tags battery is low and you have approximirelt 7/10 days to change the battery. 

Battery require: CR2032 Lithium (Panosonic works the best over other brands)

You can purchase a new battery here

 

I have broken or lost my tag and my car will not start

if you have a spare tag, you can use this or you can over ride the system by following our youtube video here

My tracking isn't working or has stopped?

Check to see when it was installed as after the first 6 months, your subscription may have expired. or if you have renewed it for 12 months and the 12 months ihas ended, you may will need to renew it.

I have broken or lost my immobiliser ID Tag

If you have lost or broken your tag and need to drive your vehicle, you can watch the video here to help you get on your way. 

To replce your tag, contact your installer to as they will be able to pair the tag to your system for you. Find your local installer here
